Basic Information
Navarro Early College High School, located at 1201 Payton Gin Road is a 9-12 grade public high school that starts at 9:05am and ends at 4:35pm.
Programs – Academic
Navarro ECHS offers a variety of academic programs, including but not limited to: Career & Technical, Early College, and Gifted & Talented. Navarro’s Career & Technical (CTE) Program helps to prepare students for jobs straight out of high school. Students can earn college credit, industry credentials and postsecondary awards (like certifications and associate degrees). You can learn more about some of these programs here. Navarro also offers an Early College program, through this program students are able to graduate with both a high school diploma and an associate degree through Austin Community College. Navarro offers a Gifted & Talented program for high-achieving students. Through this program students can take advanced courses and advanced placement (AP) courses. The program also includes a magnet program and International Baccalaureate, both of which require application. Students wishing to have college-level coursework that are willing to put the time in outside of school are also able to do Dual Credit courses. You can learn more about this here.
Programs – Sports and Fine Arts
Navarro offers many sports and fine arts programs for interested students. Fine Arts options include Band, Choir, Dance, Guitar, Orchestra, Theatre, and Visual Arts. Navarro’s sports include Baseball, Basketball, Cross Country, Drill Team, Football, Golf, Soccer, Softball, Track and Field, Volleyball, and Wrestling.
