Students might be just settling into the new year here at Lively, but it’s already time for our eighth grade class to prepare for their next step into highschool. After school on Thursday, October 17th from 4:30pm to 6:30pm, Lively will be hosting a “High School Fair”, a gathering where students from Lively, particularly ones who aren’t planning on going to their feeder high schools’, will get to see different AISD High Schools present their activities and the reasons they’re worth going to.
As of now the following High Schools’, Akins, Anderson, Bowie, Crockett, LGJ, Lasa, McCallum, Navvaroo, and Travis will be attending. Other highschools like Austin High, Eastside, Garza, Ann Richards, International High School, and Northeast will not be, but if you want to see information on the ladder schools you will be able to find it here:
No matter what grade you’re in or what your plans are for highschool it’s always helpful to know your options, which is why events like a High School Fair are such a great opportunity.
