I interviewed Josie Markaverich, a 6th grader at Lively Middle School and this month’s winner of Lively’s peer-chosen fashion spotlight, asking her a few questions to see how you can achieve a style like hers.
How do you feel about winning the fashion spotlight?
It feels good.
Can you break down your style for me? What goes into planning your outfits and finding the accessories?
I usually pick the outfits out the night before, and i usually just pick out what I think is cool.
Where does your inspiration come from?
My friends and Pinterest.
Where do you get most of your clothes from?
Mostly Target.
Where do you get most of your accessories from?
Also Target.
What’s one of your favorite things to wear?
Just sweatshirts, jeans, t-shirts, and sometimes I wear bows and other stuff.
And lastly, what advice would you give to people who want to follow your fashion influence?
Just be yourself.
