Super Bowl 58 was held this past weekend on February 11 2024. The San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs played at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. There wasn’t a shortage on star power as Reba McEntire and Post Malone sung the national anthem and the latter sung “america the beautiful.” Usher performed an explosive halftime show.
Let’s talk about the game. We’ll be honest…we were going for the Chiefs.
So the score was 22-25 like we said before we were going for the Chiefs and of course they won. But to be honest it was a close game. They were tied and went into overtime and then the Chiefs won.
Patrick Mahomes is the super bowl 2024 MVP! Mahomes, 28, won the trophy and also we should add that it was the 3rd time in his career that he won the honor.
When asked about the game, students and staff had a lot to say. “The game was script,” said 8th grade student Jovany Barron. Mr.Abascal said he thought that the 49ers should’ve won.
