Sweet. Uplifting. Supportive. All words many fans used to describe the dance. It was Friday, September 8th when the Lively Dazzlers took to the Austin Achieve Highschool field and seemingly wowed the crowd along with Austin Achieve’s dance team Velocity and their “special someone’s”.

Although the girls were seemingly nervous, fans had high hopes for the teams. Samantha Thomas, an 8th grader at Lively Middle School, reported that she was excited to see them, and that she believed they would perform excellently, Eden Guess, another 8th grade Lively Falcon, also reiterated that she believed all the girls were on top of it and that she “had faith in all these dancers.”

On the other side of the field, our dazzlers weren’t quite as confident. Ameila Ratcliffgardy, an eighth grade dazzler with lively, stated that she felt somewhat nervous, but that she also trusted that her team was prepared.

And three minutes later… she was seemingly proven correct.

The dazzlers lived up to their name, dazzling the crowd, and Austin Achieve’s Velocity did wonderfully as well. Charlotte Revesz and Bela Castano, two audience members, reported that the whole thing felt community building and sweet. It seemed, from the reports of many audience members, that this group coming together with their loved ones really did bring everyone closer and make everyone feel even more connected to each other.

So, shoutout to all our dancers for doing such a great job and helping in their part of building a supportive community. I’m excited to see you all at the next game, and remember to give a smile or wave to our talented performers.
