Spring break is coming up and it has many students heading in different directions for their break. Many students are going to exciting places but some are just relaxing at their house.

One of the most popular destinations people are going to is the beach. “ Me and my family normally go somewhere fun during the breaks” says 8th grader Sabrina Arvizu, she says that this break she will be heading to the beach. Another person heading to the beach is the Native Plants and animals teacher, Ms. Morgan said she would be going to a beach called surf side with her family. I think the beach is a fun and relaxing destination and I hope they have a wonderful time!

The next destination is hanging with their family. 8th grader Nathalie Torres says she will be heading to Her Grandpa’s house in East Austin to go spend time with him.  I think it’s really sweet that people are getting to spend time with their family members they don’t get to see a lot.

A different place people will be going to is their house. An 8th grader, Noh’syar Holley, said she will just be sleeping this spring break. And History teacher Mr. Nava says he will be at his house trying to get school work done for the next 9 weeks.

Another popular place people are heading to is out of state. 8th grader, Chloe Ahumada, says she will either be going to New York or Arizona. During spring break I will be going to Santa Fe, New Mexico, to see my Aunt who just moved away. We are planning to go skiing there so I am really excited.

The final destination is going to a camp. 7th grader Ryan Rocha said he will probably be doing a camp, he doesn’t know which one though.

Overall it seems like almost everyone is going somewhere fun and exciting. But even if they’re not, at least they still get a rest break from school.
